Hanover Township (Northampton County, Pennsylvania)

When Hanover Township came to me their website looked like it was from straight out of the 90’s. Their navigation was in no way intuitive and looked like clipart. We needed to begin web development on a new way to reach Hanover’s constituents.

Township Manager, John Finnigan, was not only interested in presenting a more impressive and intuitive design. He also wanted to have more control over the township’s content and how it was presented. In addition to the township’s standard content they also needed to be able to post calendar events, township messages and other fluctuating website content.

ternstyle was able to provide the ability for the township to manage their content with ternstyle’s content management tools. In conjunction with the content management system Hanover is now using ternstyle’s proprietary web based calendaring software ternCal. ternCal is an AJAX driven full-fledged calendar which allows for multiple color coded event types in a month-at-a-glance view.

Hanover also has a homepage slider module and a built in newsletter application with the ability to sign up for said newsletter. ternstyle has a yearly web maintenance retainer agreement with Hanover Township.
