Ternstyle has been a work in progress for about 8 years now. The name ternstyle originated as a name for my (Matthew Praetzel) first real product which was a content management system. I built a website a number of years ago for what is now the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem. The Steel Ice Center is a hockey and skating rink that as a hockey player I had close ties with. The business owners were in need of a way to manage their online content and employed me to write them an application. This web-based application later, after its initial implementation, grew into a full-fledged content management system thusly named ternstyle. I liked the name enough to take it on as my company name which has since been incorporated. It's all been quite the learning experience since then.
How can ternstyle help website owners?
Much of my web based software is intended to empower website owners. A website owner should feel connected with his/her website. Software like ternstyle's Content Management Tools and plugins like ternCal Calandaring Plugin and Wordpress Members List Plugin put you back at the helm, allowing you to alter your site according to your specifications without a middle-man.
I also sell web hosting. So I am able to host your website, install ternstyle's content management tool or the latest version of Worpress, as well as any number of other goodies you might have a taste for, and you'd be on your way. Keeping you in control of many important facets of your presence on the web.
How can ternstyle help web developers?
Well, I am a programmer but I am also a developer. To become more effective and efficient at my job, it made sense to write classes and libraries of code. My libraries are based in PHP and Javascript. Much of this code I offer you for free. I believe it is important to be helpful.
There are a number of plugins at your disposal as well. I try to keep them groomed, optimized, up-to-date and well documented. Most certainly, any suggestions are welcome.
