Grates and Grills

Grates and Grills is a family owned and operated fireplace and grill retail store. When Dan Rymdeika contacted me their existing website was outdated by about 10 years. The coding techniques were improper and table based. Our consult consisted of discussing ways to make their template more lively, colorful and engaging.

The tongs, which seem to be the highlight of the template, I designed in Adobe Illustrator and texturized in photoshop. I designed their homepage to be a portal to many of the corners of their site. It’s very visual to offer prospective or existing customers an easy way to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Grates and Grills was built using XHTML and CSS and is W3C standards compliant.
